Position Title: Community Engagement Specialist

Reports To: Operations Director
Hours: Part-time (approximately 20 hours/week, flexible schedule)

Position Summary:
Goods Bank NEO is seeking a highly motivated Part-Time Community Engagement Specialist to advance strategic procurement and drive membership growth. This role is critical to ensure that donated goods are effectively sourced, prioritized, and distributed to maximize impact for our member organizations and the communities they serve. The specialist will also play a key role in cultivating and maintaining relationships with product donors while supporting the expansion and engagement of our membership network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Identify and maintain corporate partners, retailers, manufacturers, and community donors.  Work with Operations Director to prioritize product needs that yield high volume/quality donations which align with member needs and mission impact.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective donors of products and potential members. 
  • Data and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of donations, procurement, and membership activities.  

Qualifications:

  • Experience in procurement, sales, supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.  
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Data-driven and detail-oriented, with ability to track outcomes and analyze trends.
